MG ♥ 100608

Outing with Pri Sch Friends

This is day I've been looking forward to every holiday since Sec 1. This is where all the reminiscing and all things new happens. This is when you realised that the people whom you've not met/seen/talked for a half a year still means soooooo much to you.

Today is the much anticipated outing with the MG who rocks my socks yo!

I woke up feeling all excited, that Imma' be seeing the mosquitoeszz, that Imma' be spending the day (10 hours together, to be exact) with them, though I was kinda dreading the water bomb part because my period knocked on my door yesterday..

Sheryl called and said that Kevin's meeting us early too, and that she's already on bus 196.

I missed my bus, even though I was checking Iris before. (-.-) Then at 11am when I'm suppose to reach Parkway, I'm still waiting for my bus. I was late.

Alight the bus then went to Mos Burger to meet them. Kevin was eating fried butterfly prawns and drinking this jelly drink with straws. Chit-chatted and gossiped and all. Sheryl showed me the classic photo of Kevin's last year when we met up at NAPS during Teacher's Day. Nice catching up I must say. Funny how Kevin got himself into so much trouble with so many different people. Then he was asking if his bag was nice, and that he's going to start a trend with it. He never changed at all, I guess.

Then we walked to Giant to get my headsets but it seems that there's no more stock on display. We couldn't find the salesperson and we were thinking of getting Kevin to shout, (hahaha). Then we went to Popular and on the way Kevin was complaining about the heat and the sun!! And he doesn't open the doors for us girls! Sheryl was saying that he's soo ungentlemanly (haha). Popular also do not have my cheap, cheap headsets, so we headed back to Parkway.

Sheryl went to develop photos, for Chung Hsien's belated present, then we three started poking the computer screen very hard because it wasn't at all sensitive and didn't respond to our previous pokes. Then this guy came to aid us with the photos, and said that even if we didn't develop 10 photos, they'll still charge us at the rate of 10 photos. Sheryl went to pay and the lady said that she can collect it at 12.40pm.

Then we went back to Mos Burger and waited for the rest to arrive. Jordan was the first. When he called Kevin I used a fake voice and spoke to him and I think he thought that that was Kevin's voice, (haha). He was already outside then, with a friend of his. Then Gareth came, and he used my phone to call Yvette and then LiangDeng and Huishan came in together. (I like Shan's blouse!) Then we tried calling the others i.e. Yvette who hadn't reached yet. So exciting seeing them all!!

Then we left Mos Burger because we took up a whole lot of space and LiangDeng was standing throughout (haha) and headed to Evergreen to get glue because none of us brought it. Gareth wants to watch Kungfu Panda because his sister said it's nice. Then Liangdeng & I were squabbling because I was saying he's stingy.

Then we went to Macs to have our lunch and met Yvette at the traffic light there. Liangdeng doesn't want to go by the traffic light way, but changed his mind when he saw the police car there.

Then we girlies had one table to ourselves, while the guys had another table to themselves. I think we made a lot of noise hahaha. HuiShan and I queued up and got our food first, and I had McChicken. :D

Yvette went to get Mos Burger because she doesn't feel like eating Macs so she took away Mos Burger to Macs to eat, and helped Sheryl collect the developed photos. She's going to Russia for Choir with Mr. Foong, one of our very own ex-Choir conductor, and she's only thinking of getting key-chains back for us. What a friend.

Sheryl had a Bioskin appointment at 2.30pm, so after she's done with her food, she was doing up the scrapbook, like deciding on where to put the pictures and what words should we write in it, though nothing was really written or done, while I was playing with Liangdeng's phone that has PuzzleBobble which I always "Game Over!" and complaining to Yvette, and she kept saying I'm lousy, and when she played the game she died less times than me!

HuiShan & I were chanting: "Mahjong! Mahjong! Mahjong!" because we couldn't wait to play at her house, since Yvette and Liangdeng also know to play. They, minus Yvette, know how to play tai some more, heh heh heh. Nevermind, we can teach Yvette, heh heh heh. So we were kinda rushing Sheryl and all because we couldn't wait. Sheryl made Yvette/Liangdeng promised her that we'll do the scrapbook while at Huishan's house when she's at her appointment. So the plan is something like this: Pong(!) one time, paste one picture, repeat. HAHAHA. I can't believe we came up with that.

Left Macs then we went to SKP to get the plastic bags so we could play water bombs. Da girlies were fighting over which size we should buy. After selecting one after much consideration, I was shouting for Liangdeng and he claimed that he's not the bank, but I replied that he's the ATM. HAHA.

Then we went to find Hongyang at his shop (no link here whatsoever but since it was the same stretch of shops) and then we went to Popular because Yvette wants to get vangaurd sheet, and since it wasn't 2.30pm yet, we wasted some time in Popular and at the pet shop (read: cute cute puppies!!), before escorting Sheryl to her appointment. :D

(& yes Yvette was carrying the vanguard sheet throughout the whole day! LOL)

Then we went to the opposite to board a bus to get to HuiShan's cribz! Chit-chats and gossips along the way, about our previous 6/2 peeps, like Naomi and Min Ren. Lol.

Alighted and then you know what? WE FORGOT ABOUT THE SCRAPBOOK! It's still with Sheryl!!! So, we were all "Aiyah nevermind la. Don't need to tell her, she won't see the sms"! So yeah....

The first thing Yvette did when we reach HuiShan's cribz was to occupy the computer hahah. Then HuiShan, Liangdeng & I were setting up the table, the chairs, and the tiles and because of Yvette we had to seperate out the suo zi tiles and later mix them in again. Grrr. I think all of us won a few arounds, even Yvette who didn't know how to play tai and was lazy to draw her own tiles. At one part Liangdeng was helping us with the tiles too. HAHAHA. I don't know why but everything just feel so bored, and w-o-l-s....

Gareth & Jordan were watching Nickelodeon and Disney while we were playing. Kevin watched halfway and once he helped us saying what tiles Yvette has. "Circles" was exact word, and then he went to play the Net. HAHA.

HuiShan sms-ed Sheryl to ask her to get bubble teas back for us, yayness! :D Then when she came at around 4pm, we were still playing (hahaha)!

Then this is the part where everything went bonkers. 1. Yvette spilled her milktea and it went *splat* on the floor, and we the 4 playing mahjong players sort of went stunned. Liangdeng's was the worst because the milktea kena his socks and Yvette started laughing very hard because Liangdeng's socks became "milk-socks" HAHAHA. Liangdeng started looking for plastic bags and Huishan suggested using the water bombs one since Liangdeng couldn't find any in the kitchen to store his "milk-socks". 2. The computer Kevin was hogging onto crashed/shut down on its own. And I was the one who pointed it out (read: everyone was sooo engrossed in LiangDeng's milk-socks/watching tv/Yvette was cleaning up the milk tea/Huishan was fixing the computer). Everything happened at once. So crazy!

Then we realised it was Yvette's turn when it the milktea was spilled. So we got on the game and then you know what: YVETTE WAS STILL DRINKING THE MILKTEA THAT WENT *SPLAT*! (Okay I can't stop laughing as I'm typing this!!!!!!) She went "ew ew ew!" and then threw the milk tea away. Seriously, I don't know what's she thinking. Yvette after you see this, please enlighten me!!

Then since we were bored with mahjong already, some of em' helped Sheryl with the scrapbook and I flipped channels for a while. Then HuiShan went to play Maple and then Liangdeng, Gareth & Yours Truly started playing Daidee with Huishan's Tinkerbell poker cards. I kept giving Gareth dees. LOL. After a few rounds, I joined Sheryl, Yvette & Kevin doing the tarot-love thingy. It's kinda exciting knowing what the cards meant, how many cards left in the pack = how many obstacles in your love life, that kinda thing. When Sheryl did mine, it's so damn accurate!!! We kept doing it over and over again because we wanna compare the results. And they forbade me to put JT!!! HAHA.

Then we started cam-whoring with LiangDeng's cammmcammmz! & HuiShan stopped Maple-ing and joined us too. Then we took family photos (like the last time!!), both formal and informal ones, and Liangdeng had to run up and down, up and down HAHAA.

Then CH the birthday boy finally arrived!! Gave him the belated birthday present and sang him a birthday song! Took some more family photos! :D

Then everyone started complaining about the hunger, and thought that going to Astons would be a bad idea because it's queue are damn long already, and decided on Parkway's Banquet.

HuiShan didn't join us as she's having dinner at home. So we bade goodbyes, and Imma' miss you lots girl!!!

I made Liangdeng looked everywhere for his phone when it's with me (hehehehe). Then when we were going down the condo, we thought we saw something in the staircase which was actually only shadows but all of us & I think mostly me & Sheryl & Kevin, screamed the loudest as we got into the lift and there was this uncle who was kinda irritated, and the worse part was CH DID NOT GET INTO THE LIFT WITH US!!!! HE WAS THE ONLY ONE OKAY!!! Before he could even squeeze in, the doors closed already!!!

We board 36 to Parkway and cam-whored this time with Sheryl's cammmcammzz. And then we started talking about Choir again. And then Liangdeng was saying Mr Toh still recognises me. (? HAHAHA)

Walked up to Banquet and waited for this Malay family to finish up. Then I started counting all the coins I had in my pouch. It was $17.65 in total! Then I bought MeePok soup which was so filling, even though I did not finish up the whole bowl of things.

Kevin started talking about Gelare because IT'S TUESDAY!!!!!! Got all of us so excited!! HAHA. Yvette has a problem with drinking coke, because it erodes our teeth. Damn funny.

Then we left Banquet and then left Parkway, to take buses at Katong to go to Siglap. Waited for buses for some time, and the first one was 12. On the way there, they were talking about animals and their faeces. Lol.

Then Sheryl didn't want to get down from 12 because it'd get her straight home and then it was going to be a few minutes to 9pm and she has to be home by 10pm. But we managed to make her alight with us, even though she didn't eat the half-priced waffles at all.

Found seats inside, but we had to sit seperately. Ordered, and I never realise it's that pricey, lol. Had one scoop of Cookies & Cream w/ whipped cream :D Ate till halfway then Sheryl had to leave already. Liangdeng left with her. Then we continued eating and left quickly after that because we're taking up too much space. HAHA.

Gareth took a cab home. Jordan walked home! SEE YA ALL 6 MONTHS LATER!! :D

Actually decided on waiting for a bus with Yvette and Kevin and CH, but then realised that CH had to take 3 buses which was, impractical. So we left Yvette & Kevin alone, and CH took 155 with me to change to 15. :D

I LOVE YOU MOSQUITOES GANG! :D DO TELL ME THAT WE'LL BE MEETING UP FOR TEACHER'S DAY(?) OR DURING NOV/DEC!! MUST MUST MUST!

They are really a great bunch of friends who never failed to make me smile and laugh. I'm really comfortable and can really be my self when I'm hanging around with them. Such trust and friendship built among us will never be broken. Though we don't always meet up, there's always MSN and emails to keep us in touch, no matter how busy we are. I know for this lifetime, they've made a such a huge difference in my life and I never want them out of my life. They taught me that "Friends Forever" really can exist. I love them to bits! heart

Not gonna post the photos. At least not for now. Go to HuiShan's!! :D

I LOVE YOU MOSQUITOES GANG! :D DO TELL ME THAT WE'LL BE MEETING UP FOR TEACHER'S DAY(?) OR DURING NOV/DEC!! MUST MUST MUST!

Met Jiayan & Vivian today to study and swim, but my period came when I was about to change, so coincidental.

Jy went through EMaths with me, those that I missed, thanks to Choir. THANKS SOOO MUCH!!!

I laugh so much when I'm with them. Both of them are really a great bunch of girlfriends.

Left my heavy things at Vivian's house, then we headed to East Point for our late lunch, around 3pm. Jiayan & I had KFC while Ahtay had Long Johns Silver. We always take away the food and head off to somewhere to eat. This way, we won't have conflict if one does not desire to eat the other.

After that we went to Popular and I bought a notebook for EMaths. Then we headed back to Vivian's house. Took my stuffs then left. I sent her home! :)

Okay this post is so late.

Learn to accept reality,
that you are not what you always seem to be,
that people are not what they always seem to be,
that you change,
that people change,
that nothing stays the same.

Steamboat was awesome!!!!!!!!!

So much seafood, so much veggies, so much et cetera, so much calamansi & water chestnut drink, so healthy (not!)!!!

Thank god for the short queue. By the time we've finished eating, whoa! The queue was loooong!!!

Shouldn't have worn my jeans out. It almost killed me. The heat, gahhhhh.

Ahting said she wore a dress so that she could eat as much as she wants and won't look like she's bloated. I think she's quite true. Dang, I should have worn a dress too. HAHA.

Walked around Bugis, and Sean threw Ahting's phone and it hit the ground and the phone broke into 3 parts - the back cover that covered up the battery, the battery, and the remaining phone itself.

Fei joined us afterwards, and she had Fish & Chips at the basement. I don't remember which store.

Then we had this yoghurt which tasted so... fermented? Yucks. Never gonna try that again.

Train-ed and buss-ed home. Fei started asking Sean, stuffs like,"If you were stuck in the lift with X & Y, who would you choose?", so on and so forth, and it came to a point where ALL 3 of them rather choose to be stuck in the lift with ME than Kor!!! HAHAHAHAHA.

They we watched Juno! It's M18, HAHAHA. But Kor bought the DVD from China. Not bad (considering it's from China lolol)! Shall go download the soundtrack. So cute!!

Then they cheated my feelings! I won 3 rounds (out of 6 please!) in mahjong and after that, they desserted me and watched My Super Bad Ex Girlfriend (or sth along that line)!!!!!! I didn't watch with them. Pfft. My $$$!!

Okay this is a lousy post byebyebye.

Steamboat at Bugis with my sister and her boyfriend was awesome!!!!!!!!!

So much seafood, so much veggies, so much meat, so much of calamansi & water chestnut drink, so not healthy!!!

Three cheers for the short queue! By the time we've finished eating, whoa! The queue was very long!!!

I shouldn't have worn my jeans out. The heat almost suffocated me.

My sister said she wore a dress so that she could eat as much as she wants and won't look like she's bloated. I think she's quite true. Dang, I should have worn a dress too!

I think I should start exercising if not the hand on the weighing scale would go right instead of left. ):

I eat to live, and live to eat. :D

My second sister joined us after dinner and we headed home together. Since my mother went to Desaru, Malaysia with her colleagues, we had the whole house to ourselves, and we watched Juno.

Juno is a whip-smart teen confronting an unplanned pregnancy by her classmate Bleeker. With the help of her hot best friend Leah, Juno finds her unborn child a "perfect" set of parents: an affluent suburban couple, Mark and Vanessa, longing to adopt. Luckily, Juno has the total support of her parents as she faces some tough decisions, flirts with adulthood and ultimately figures out where she belongs.

I like times like this when we spend time together enjoying something. This is called family. :D

Mama went to Desaru, Malaysia with her colleagues this morning and will be back tomorrow afternoon, so we're planning mahjong tonight! :D

Steamboat @ Bugis with Ahting & Sean for dinner. That'd be my first full meal for the day.

The fridge and cupboard is sooo baree I have nothing much to eat. ):

If I don't get ready now, Imma be late!

Hohohoh, I'm blogging at a super slow-rate at another tab, about THE CLICK FIVE - MODERN MINDS AND GREAT TIMES WORLD TOUR CONCERT that has many tongues wagging, mostly Miaowen's, Clarissa's & Yours Truly's tongue. HAHAHA.

The 3 parts of the concerts: -
  1. Before
  2. During
  • After
  • Check to see which one I'm done with! :D

I love going out with my sister! She'll always bring me to have good food. Best of all, she pays for them all. (:D)

Just today, we went to have dinner at the hawker centre near my house that's famous for it's carrot cake and prawn mee, then we had desserts at Hong Kong Cafe, that was just a few shops down the hawker center.

For supper, we headed to Bedok 85, well-knowned for it's minced meat porridge, bak chor mee, BBQ chicken wings, squid and my favorite - sugarcane with lemons!

I know that once I start working, it'd be my turn to treat them once I got my paycheck. It's only the right thing to do.

I think tomorrow we'll be having steamboat @ Bugis for dinner! :D

Supper @ 85 consisted of chicken wings, the squid, sugarcane w/ lemon, and the very very famous porridge.

I live to eat, and eat to live. :D

Back home from dinner. Super yummy!

Had the famous carrot cake + prawn mee at teh kopitiam then crossed over to Hong Kong Cafe for desserts. Ahting & Sean ordered the Banana French Toast which I don't like the bananas at all because I don't even like bananas in the first place. So imagine the toast being fried together with the bananas. Super NOT yummmmmmy! Eeek. It's still nice w/o the bananas. HAHAHA. I had the Golden Fantasy which is damn shiok because there's saga/sago(?) and pomelos and mango ice cream. Heavenly!!!!

I shall rest my tummy for now, then out for supper @ 85 with Ahting & Kenneth & Nicholas :D

Post about my day with Ahtay & Jy soon! :D

(OMG I HAVE MANY OUTDATED STUFFS TO POST ABOUT!!! KILL ME PLEASE!!!)

    Let's see.

This is the 2nd week of June holidays.

Yet mentally and psychologically it's NOT the holidays.

There's the damn extra lessons, and dreaded choir, and ya know what, THEY CLASHED!!!!!!!!

So I gave the former a miss & I tell you, I'm gonnnnna read up on my own, so I won't lag behind, and attended the latter, which was tiring and I wondered why I didn't it a miss in the first place. Hmmm. So I have to see BFs? Nope I don't think so. Tsk&pffft.

& then there was the BV Bazaar & Angeline's bday party, which details are coming, realllll sooon!

&& then again there was THE CLICK FIVE - MODERN MINDS AND GREAT TIMES WORLD TOUR CONCERT THAT ROCKED THE WHOLE STADIUM YO!!!!!!!! (I'm gonna post that in detail, say, soooon?)

&&& not forgetting what comes after the concert!!! DANG IT WAS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE!

So, dont'cha think my life is pretty exciting?!

Too exciting that I'm neglecting my homework!!!!!!!!!!

Chant: I have to revise, I have to complete my homework, I have to be consistent, I have to be fficient, I have to buck up, I have to be an independent learner. I HAVE TO I HAVE TO I HAVE TO.

9 points for Os you know you're mine!!

    P/s: Sudden outburst of thoughts.
SYF Opening rehearsals yesterday and today.

Miaowen and I were late by half an hour yesterday, because we took our own sweet time. (Hehe)

It was held at Pasir Ris Crest Sec. School. Really glad there's air-conditioning in their hall.

It's tiring, but we have enough breaks to recharge our energy. We have one break at 11am, lunch break at 1pm, another short one. I think we ate alot, it's portions are very big.

I'm really really excited about the final product!! It's about less than three weeks away to the performance!! Hopefully with more practises and rehearsals we'll be perfect and the best item throughout the parade!!

I've learnt that, it's best not to give up. One have to perservere to make something out of nothing. We've come a long way! Yet the the road is still long and we still have a long way to go!
With more discipline and teamwork, we're gonna rock the whole stadium yo! :D

THE CLICK FIVE - MODERN MINDS AND GREAT TIMES WORLD TOUR CONCERT

This is the long-awaited, delayed, outdated, topic-starter post that I've been procrastinating to blog about because there's so much to talk about and I know that I'll take FOREVER due to me not being able to stick to one thing and I'll end up bloghopping and neglecting the post and because I still don't have all the pictures from the other 2 cammmmcammmzz but it's okay because Miaowen the babelicious had sent it to me via Sharing Folders & I already copied from Clarissa's blog & you my dear bloghoppers can always hop to Clarissa's & Miaowen's blogs to check it out yo!

Thumbs up to Sharing Folders! pleased

BEFORE "THE CLICK FIVE - MODERN MINDS AND GREAT TIMES WORLD TOUR CONCERT"

I was getting ready to head out, packing my 2D1N little-getaway-sleepover with my Crumpler bag, at Miaowen's house, thinking about why do we need to have Choir on a Monday, at a ungodly hour of 7.15am, and making sure I'm appropriately dressed for the occasion, for the much-anticipated event that for many, many times, Miaowen & I have been trying to win tickets, via Lime, Teens, Teenage, 987fm and whatnot, in hope that we could get the Meet & Greet Passes, but sadly no! We're not that lucky. Even though Miaowen's mum bought the $68 tickets already after knowing Miaowen's results, we were still holding our hopes high so that we could even sold the tickets and earn some ka-chings (read: $$$$$$$$$ for the both of us).

Left the house at 5.00pm and rang Clarissa up, and to my shock, she was already on the train and the next stop is Eunos, the platform we planned to meet!!!!! Saw that bus 155 was on its way, so I told her to wait for me at Paya Lebar instead, though I have to walk a huge distance because that area was under construction since, forever. Luckily I found another route to the train station and saved me quite a distance! Phew.

Looked up, and surprisingly there's this girl, with her long hair let down, and skinny as a pole, WAVED AT ME!!!!!!! Thinking that it's Clarissa, gave her a ring and asked is it her. Obviously right, but I wasn't confirmed so I didn't wave back, sorry!

Reached the platform, and just missed the train! Clarissa told me to call Miaowen and asked her about dinner, whether we'll be taking away to her house or something else. Told her that we're at the Paya Lebar platform waiting for train and hung up.

Upon reaching Aljunied MRT Station, we had Miaowen running towards us and then saying, "I have to top-up my brother's ezlink card!". She did what she had to and we waited for her. Then we headed for a coffee shop nearby to take away food up to her house to have our dinner. I had curry chicken! Not bad! We went up to her house, and enjoyed our dinner with the air-con switched on!

Miaowen's mum came home early from grocerry shopping and we left the house soon after.

Walked briskly to the 16 bus stop where I was saying we definitely had to cross the over-head bridge.

Alighted directly outside the Singapore Indoor Stadium & I vaguely remembered the times I've been here was to watch Disney On Ice with the cousins and family. We collected our free(!) Click Five Posters which are very unlimited as only the first few people who bought the tickets get to have the poster!

We entered by the North Entrance though our tickets says East and the security people check our belongings. Then this lady was asking us if wanted to join their membership and that we'll have free Cds if we signed up on the spot. I didn't think that it'll come handy and that the membership is free (!) so we didn't sign up. Plus, Clariss'a mum already had the card, so no point to sign up.

Found our seats, and we were seated by 7.15pm, which was very early because the concert starts at 8pm. I was seated beside Clarissa, and Clarissa's other side was Miaowen, so it goes like: Yours Truly - Clarissa - Miaowen. Lucky Clarissa got to sit in the middle! We were bored while waiting and took pictures of ourselves. The $98 tickets standing area was quite packed, with all the adoring fans up and front. I betcha they must have come super duper uber early to get such upfront, close and personal to the stage. However, this didn't made me regret not getting $98 ones because by the time we reached, half of the standing area was filled and I don't think it's comfortable standing/jumping throughout the concert, trying to tip-toe to see the stage.

Waited and waited, and Miaowen was asking, "Ahgwee! If some hot guy sit beside you i change place with you okay?". Then I went like, "Tsk! No way!" (Haha.) But sadly, 3 girls sat beside me instead. Awww, no hot guys by our side.

Another 3 seriously obsessed-mad-crazy-(insert any word to define mad/crazy/obsess) girls sat beside Miaowen and they were all damn high-strung, shouting profanities at the $98 people who were high-ing because they were being shot the cameramen doing mini-waves, and at anyone else they were displeased with. I had never seen such crazy fans before.

While we were anticipating the start of the concert, there was this girl seating somewhere a row behind us went screaming, "Amanda! We have backstage passes!". She was apparently trying to make this 'Amanda' person feel jealous and well, whoever who heard her screaming, practically the whole lot of people, would be jealous. I know we all did, and the :O on everyone's faces, including ours says it all. (Read: Jealousy jealousy - One of the seven greatest sins!)

Then there was an announcement at 8.05pm (!!!!! THEY WERE LATE!!!!) that the concert would start in FIFTEEN minutes (!!!! THEY WERE LATE AND THEY STILL DELAY IT SOME MORE!!! OUTRAGEOUS!!!!). They made so many crazy & obsessed fans wait for them. Boo. But they are VIPs, so no matter waiting for a while more for them.

DURING "THE CLICK FIVE - MODERN MINDS AND GREAT TIMES WORLD TOUR CONCERT"

The entire Indoor Stadium turned pitched black, and the lights were only focused on the white cloth that covered the stage. It was kinda frustrating because they were only making you anticipate them more, and it was only a slideshow introducing the Click Five counterparts?!

Then the cloth dropped and revealed...... THE CLICK FIVE!!!!!!!!!!! The crowd were HIGH and HYSTERICAL! NO MORE ANTICIPATION!! (But I was wrong!!) No doubts about it, I know we three were too. Especially Miaowen's because the lead singer, Kyle Patrick, on the stage is her future husband!!! -*winks*

Kyle Patrick opened the show with his deep, powerful vocals. With steady, strong tones, the show kicked off with "Flipside," one of many catchy ditties in The Click Five's repertoire. Although, what showed off Kyle's impressive vocals were the slower tempo songs. With a slight vibrato to his rich vocals that would make any choir teacher proud, "Empty" sounded like a pitch-perfect studio rendition, except live.

What was particularly enjoyable was the segment where Kyle introduced each member of The Click Five. Each got to show off their mad skills at the various instruments they play. Affectionately termed the "Mad Scientist" of The Click Five, Ben Romans, with wild hair and flailing arms, tumbling all over and tinkling on his upside-down keyboard, was truly a hoot. The man who makes you "feel it in your bones," Ethan Mentzer, lives up to his name, playing soulful bass like there's no tomorrow. Joe Guese thrilled with his nimble fingers running expertly along his guitar, while Joey Zehr's lightning-fast drum beats resounded amidst flashing stage lights. My favourite has to be Joey Zehr!!

We were treated to sincere, earnest proclamations of how much the band loved every moment on the Singapore stage (When Kyle was introducing "All I Need Is You", he said "All we need is Singapore". Awwwwwwww), and a good, old-fashioned hour and a half of scream-your-lungs-out instrumentals and vocals.

Musicians like them are not what you'll get to see everyday, live! Yeah, you see them on the screen, on the posters, on magazines, in their music videos, in the Net, but for the first time in your life, they are live on stage, performing FOR YOU, rockin' the whole stadium with their music and their moves, hyping up the whole crowd. It made me regret not getting the tickets to the other concerts, like Maroon 5, Linkin Park, Simple Plan, Gwen Stefani, Jay Chou and so much much more.

The Click Five played a few new tracks, that's not yet on the records. They're quite nice! One was written by Ethan and sang by Kyle. My my, I can't wait for their new album!

About halfway or three-quarter throughout the concert, they all LEFT THE STAGE!!!! It was pitch-black and all. Worst thing was they haven't played JENNY, the first single of their second album, and also the song Miaowen wanted us to stand together! So the three of us started shouting and screaming, "We want more! We want more! Jenny! Jenny! Jenny!" It wasn't only us, the rest of the fans started too. I tell you, they are only trying to manipulate our minds by making us want them more, some publicity gimmick so that we'll crave for them, and make us anxious for nothing, Sad to say, it worked! They didn't mention it's the end of the concert, and the lights weren't switched on for us audiences to go out, so it must have been a very very short break for the Click Five, so when they came back, the atmosphere resumed and it was all good!

They performed "Jenny", & ended with "Headlight Disco", with many disco balls hanging!! All the people were standing up now, jumping to the music! I couldn't have more fun!

The concert ended at last, and I bet none of us wished it would. Overall, I think they sounded better LIVE, mainly because they're having so much fun and giving it their best shot.

AFTER "THE CLICK FIVE - MODERN MINDS AND GREAT TIMES WORLD TOUR CONCERT"

Quickly left the stadium, then went to search for the Click Five, hoping that we could get a glimpse of them. Then Miaowen brought us to this place, where we waited outside a particular holding room only to be rejected by the authorized personels that only those who has Meet&Greet/Backstage passes could enter!

Then we went to find the ladies, and didn't search the Indoor Stadium thoroughly enough, so we went on the Kallang Leisure Park for the ladies. It's new!!! (Pss, I want to go ice-skating! Hope it's almost the same as roller-blading, and that hopefully I can adjust and adapt to it!)

Then after that we left the shopping centre and took bus 16 to KFC, because Clarissa was hungry and I was craving for cheese fries! After queuing for sme time while gossiping with Clarissa, the person said there's only Fish Zinger and the large Popcorn Chicken left (read: NO CHEESE FRIES LEFT!!!)!!!!!! Then we left, and went to Macs, since it's only the opposite. Thank god it's 24/7!! So I shared the McNuggets Student's Meal with Miaowen the babelicious since I wasn't that hungry, and since we couldn't finish one whole meal. We were thinking how we were going to consume the supper since we don't have the pleasure to sit down and chill (read: too late to be having fun already) and I was thinking of asking the cab driver to let us eat in his cab and why not?

This was the part where even though my girlies were freaking out trying to get home, I still remained in a peace state of mind, that was calmly thinking of alternatives for us to get home.

So we started flagging cabs everywhere we went, which was this circular junction, not exactly squarish/rectangular-ish due to all the on-going constructions, that cabs come in all directions irregularly, but they were ALL OCCUPIED!!!!!!! So we this was where Miaowen starting flagging cabs with one hand and eating fries in another, Clarissa was having her McChicken and fries in both hands, and I was asking Clarissa to help me open the packet of mayonnaise so I can enjoy my McNuggets. (hahahaha)

Then we walked around in circles a lot more, avoiding secluded places which practically was hard to do because everywhere was deserted and empty ( ♪ Maybe we're trying/Trying too hard/Maybe we're torn apart/Maybe the timing/Is beating our hearts/We're empty ♪ ) , avoiding that construction site that was making weird sounds which sounded weirdly like a wild boar(?!!) which freaked da girlies out a lot, then we ended up at this road that has a few blocks of HDB flats and a bus stop that has Clarissa's 12, but that's besides the point. And at this point in time, we've already finished our foood!!!! This proved that 1. we are fast eaters, and 2. Taxis are seriously senile.

Clarissa called her mum to inform her that she'll be home much later due to the lack of available cabs that could bring us safely home. Wasn't there to listen to the full conversation.

A stupid taxi was available passed by us and just as we thought we could finally go home, the stupid taxi passed us and changed it's sign to busy!!! :O

Then Miaowen started flagging this cab that was not your every day cab and and it just made a U-turn, so we thought it was really a cab, yet it turned out to be a POLICE VAN! WHICH ALSO IGNORED US ALL THE SAME!!!! So much for being teenagers that ain't suppose to be out after 11pm.

Finally, at long last, this cab stop for us!!! If I wasn't wrong, the time we board the cab was around 11.20-11.40pm? That's very late, but at least we board it before 12 mn, before extra midnight charges that will burn a big, big whole in our pockets!!

So we reached Miaowen's home safely, since I'm sleeping over at her house Took a shower while Miaowen the babelicious helped me to arrange the sleeping bag & cushions she lent me for da night, and even killed a cockroach that was behind her study table!!! Then it was her turned to bathe, and I scanned through the pictures in her camera, weary of the cockroach and all, and when she came out, we browsed through magazines and gave Clarissa a ring to make sure she's home, then we gossiped, about celebs like Ashlee Simpson & Pete Wentz who were engaged (& I must say they're the hottest couple ever!!), while browsing through HOT magazines, and Teens, and we gossiped more, then Miaowen switched off the lights and we're off to lala-land, which wasn't very long thanks to the Choir which starts at 7.15am!

Can't believe all the drama-mama we've been through. All the ups & downs. Seriously!! Hopefully the next concert we'll be watching would be the Jonas Brothers, that is if they're even coming to Singapore.! :D

1st June 2008 marked a special opening to the month, and it was a day of fun, joy and laughter. It might not hold a special meaning to you, but it held and still holds a special meaning to all those who were at the Indoor Stadium that night, and it definitely held an importance to Miao Wen, Jazmyne and myself.
Uh huh, Clarissa you got that right! Really really glad it was these two babes that I spent my night together with. They both are really great friends that I trust in BV.

I've learnt that, going to the rock concert can be so much fun (and expensive too!)! I definitely learnt that it's best not to bring too much things because one will probably be jumping to the tunes and wouldn't be bothered with its belongings.

Can't wait to save enough money and go to another concert! :D

BEFORE "THE CLICK FIVE - MODERN MINDS AND GREAT TIMES WORLD TOUR CONCERT"

I was getting ready to head out, packing my 2D1N little-getaway-snoozeover in my Crumpler baby, at Miaowen's cribz, thinking about why do we need to have Choir on a friggin' Monday, at a ungodly hour of 7.15am, and making sure I'm appropriately dressed for the occasion, for the much-anticipated event that for many, many times, Miaowen & I have been trying to win tickets, via Lime, Teens, Teenage, 987fm and whatnot, in hope that we could get the Meet & Greet Passes, but sadly no! We're not that lucky. Even though Miaowen's mum bought the $68 tickets already after knowing Miaowen's results, we were still holding our hopes high so that we could even sold the tickets and earn some ka-chings (read: $$$$$$$$$ for the both of us), lol. I think my black skinnies & that top don't go with my Crumpler baby. So I brought along a clutch. Thank god.

Left the house at 5.00pm and rang Clarissa up, and to my shock, she was already on the train and the next stop is Eunos, the platform we planned to meet!!!!! Saw that 155 was on its way, so I told her to wait for me at Paya Lebar instead, though I have to walk a huge distance because that area was under construction since, forever. Reached the platform, and just missed the train! Clarissa told me to call Miaowen and asked her about dinner, whether we'll be tabao-ing to her cribz, or whatnot. Told her that we're at the Paya Lebar platform waiting for train and hung up. I don't remember what Clarissa was telling me on the way to Aljunied, lol.

Upon reaching Aljunied MRT Station, we had Miaowen running towards us and then saying, "I have to top-up my brother's ezlink card!". She did what she had to and we waited for her. Then we headed for a coffee shop nearby to tabao food up to her house to have our dinner. I had curry chicken! Not bad! We went up to her house, with her brother locking himself in the room (he's always like that, lololol) while we enjoyed our dinner with the air-con switched on! Shiok! I was the last one to finish, lol.

Then we spend a good half an hour or so in the master bedroom's toilet and dolled ourselves up prettily, with Clarissa the superwoman's eyeliner, and Miaowen the babelicious's lip gloss, & cam-whored after we're done! (This is Cam-whore Session #1.) You tell me, you wouldn't want to look bad and old Plain Jane in front the love your life (read: which ever Click Five counterpart you're obsess and crazy in love with and wants them to notice you), so the smart thing to do would be to look damn great & gorgeous to grab their attention!

Cam-whore Session #2 took place in Miaowen's bedroom, and we got the world map as the background yo! Miaowen's mum came home early from grocerry shopping and Miaowen showed her the make-up and we quickly left the house after that to prevent the impending naggings from her mum, lololol. But the brudder unlocked himself from the room and commented negatively on Miaowen's make-up! Grrrr. She, or rather we 3 are not what he thinks lor. Tsktsk.

Walked briskly to the 16 bus stop where I was saying we confirm + chop that we have to cross the over-head bridge. Clarissa was very very freaked out by this prostitute who had on a very very thick make-up. (Read her blog for details on this!) Cam-whore Session #3 occured in the bus. Seriously I don't mind people staring, but it's the uneasiness that'll take place in your heart, mind and soul that you'll feel really really insecure when people are staring, and paranoia fear takes over, and that's it.
But when you're not alone, when you're with friends who don't give a damn and stands by you, you just do whatever that pleases you. No?

Alighted directly outside the Singapore Indoor Stadium & I vaguely remembered the times I've been here was to watch Disney On Ice with the cousins and family. Clarissa was saying she's hungry (-.-) & that Keith went to Angela Chang's concert at Expo(?), lol. Collected our free(!) Click Five Posters which are very unlimited as only the first few people who bought the tickets get to have the poster. It is of no use to me because I'm not those type who hangs posters up on my walls and the poster will prolly be thrown away by Mama the next time we do spring-cleaning (so on Tuesday in a moment of impulse I gave it to Lina during Choir since she treasured it more than me LOL).

We entered by the North Entrance though our tickets says East (lol) and the security people check our belongings. Thank god nothing was confiscated. Then this lady was asking us if wanted to join some membership thingy and that we'll have free Cds if we signed up on the spot. I didn't think that it'll come handy and that the membership is free (!) so we didn't sign up. Plus, Clariss'a mum already had the card, so no point to sign up.

Found our seats, (and there's the Red Hand) and we were seated by 7.15pm, which was damn early because the concert starts at 8pm. I was seated beside Clarissa, and Clarissa's other side was Miaowen, so it goes like: Yours Truly - Clarissa - Miaowen. Lucky Clarissa got to sit in the middle! We were bored while waiting and cam-whored for the #4th & #5th time. The $98 tickets standing area was quite packed, with all the adoring fans up and the front. Betcha they must have come super duper uber early to get such upfront, close and personal to the stage. However, this didn't made me regret not getting $98 ones because by the time we reached, half of the standing area was filled and it's NOT comfortable standing/jumping throughout the concert, trying to tip-toe to see the stage, seriously.

Waited and waited, and Miaowen was asking, "Ahgwee! If some hot guy sit beside you i change place with you okay?". Then I think I went like, "Tsk! No way!" HAHAA. But sadly, 3 girls sat beside me instead.

Siaozharborxsszxs, totally.

There was this really cute guy with nice hair and in green tee that we three were ga-ga over with!!!!! He looked nice from afar. HAHA who knows how he's like if he's near. Definitely defeats the purpose of us ga-ga-ing over him. Thanks to the very very bad lighting and bad zooming in of the cameras, the picture we secretly took of him seem sooo blurrrrrrrr (well that's from Clarissa's blog). A while later there was two green-tee guys sitting on the floor and Clarissa thought it was the other not-cute-at-all-one I was pointing out. HAHAHA.

And you know what, Joey, the friggin' hot drummmer that melted me on the spot, THREW HIS DRUMSTICKS (like what Miaowen posted, not chicken!) TO THE $98 PEOPLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMFG THAT DAMN PERSONAL THANG, & HE THREW IT TO THE CROWD!!!!! I seriously don't care if he did it for his other concerts, but he used those drumsticks to perform, FOR US, FOR ME, FOR THAT VERY CONCERT I WENT TO (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)!!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

AFTER "THE CLICK FIVE - MODERN MINDS AND GREAT TIMES WORLD TOUR CONCERT"

Quickly left the stadium, whining to the gfs about the drumsticks(!!!!!!!!!!!!!), then went to search for the Click Five, hoping that we could get a glimpse of them. Then Miaowen brought us to this place, where we waited outside a particular holding room only to be rejected by the authorized personels that only those who has Meet&Greet/Backstage passes could enter, and they were giving it away on Friendster a few days/weeks back!!!!! Wtf.

Then after that we left the building, taking 16 to KFC, because Clarissa was hungry and I was craving for cheese fries (again!). After queuing for 2193208754835 donkey years (while gossiping with Clarissa, lol) the person said there's only Fish Zinger and the large Popcorn Chicken left (read: NO CHEESE FRIES LEFT!!!)!!!!!! Pfft, then we left, and went to Macs, since it's only the opposite. Thank god it's 24/7!! So I shared the McNuggets Student's Meal with Miaowen the babelicious since I wasn't that hungry, and since we couldn't finish one whole set. We were thinking how we were going to consume the supper since we don't have the pleasure to sit down and chillchillchill (read: too lateeeeeeeee to be having fun already) and I was thinking of asking the cab driver to let us eat in his cab and why not? HAHA.

Then this was the part where I did not let my alter ego take over me.

So we this was where Miaowen starting flagging cabs with one hand and eating fries in another, Clarissa was having her McChicken and fries in both hands, and I was asking Clarissa to help me open the packet of mayonnaise (hahahaha) so I can enjoy my McNuggets. -*flashes eyelashes*

CABS are seriously senile.

Stupid, but the taxi was occupied even before, think the driver w-o-l-s man.

Then Miaowen started flagging this cab that was not your every day cab and and it just mad a U-turn, so we thought it was really a cab, yet it turned out to be a POLICE VAN! WHICH ALSO IGNORED US ALL THE SAME!!!! So much for being teenagers that ain't suppose to be out after 11pm. They should be fired for driving pass us without even thinking of stopping for us!!

Finally, at long last, this cab stop for us!!! If I wasn't wrong, the time we board the cab was around 11.20-11.40pm? That's super late, but at least we board it before 12 mn, before extra midnight charges that will burn a big big whole in our pockets!!

So we reached Miaowen's home safely, since I'm snoozing over at her cribz! Took a shower while Miaowen the babelicious helped me arrange the sleeping bag & cushions she lent me for da night, and even killed a cockroach that was behind her study table!!! Then it was her turned to bathe, and I scanned through the peeetures/chas in her cammmmcammmzz, weary of the cockroach and all, and when she came out, we browsed through magazines and gave Clarissa a ring to make sure she's home, then we gossiped, about celebs like Ashlee Simpson & Pete Wentz who were engaged (& I must say they're the hottest couple ever!!), while browsing through HOT magazines, and Teens, and we gossiped more, then Miaowen switched off the lights and we're off to lala-land, which wasn't very long thanks to the Choir which starts at 7.15am!!!!!! Couldn't work out the plan we had for the night. Who knew we'll be home so late?

Can't believe all the drama-mama we've been through. All the ups & downs. Seriously!! Hopefully the next concert we'll be watching would be the Jonas Brothers, that is if they're even coming to Singapore.! :D

1st June 2008 marked a special opening to the month, and it was a day of fun, joy and laughter. It might not hold a special meaning to you, but it held and still holds a special meaning to all those who were at the Indoor Stadium that night, and it definitely held an importance to Miao Wen, Jazmyne and myself.
Uh huh, Clarissa you got that right!

By the way, here's a big shoutout to da girlies who were with me on 1st June, from the moment I met Clarissa the superwoman at the Paya Lebar platform to the moment Miaowen the babelicious offed the lights that night: Love ya two to the maxxxxx and thank you both oh soooo soooooo muchhhhh for everything!!!!!!! It's definitely going to be a night I'll never forget!! heartheartheartheart

Quick post. I shall elaborate when I have time.

I think I'm sick. My nose can't stop leaking. Even taps stop.

Click Five concert's is in E-I-G-H-T HOURS TIME!! HOW AM I GOING TO ENJOY MYSELF LIKE THAT?!

HOW AM I GOING TO STAY OVER AT MW'S CRIB!?!?!??!?!?!?!

Somehow always having a long day = sore&uncomfortable throats = veryvery annoyed me.

Bazaar today has both its ups and downs and I love Jy very much!!

I don't know how to describe the After-Bazaar party @ Angeline's cribz. A mixture of feeeelings.

NOT MANY PHOTOS TODAY! Mainly because of the downs.

Home after that was soooo creepy.

    Till no one is there,

TODAY IS THE BIG DAY!! Today we, 3e2nians, after much discussions and preparations, are ready for the BIG DAY!!

We sold hot dogs, popcorns, nuggets, chocolate bananas and jellies, and screening movies too, such as Transformers (one of my favourite movie of all time!), Scooby Doo, What A Girl Wants, and so on. (This was why we had classrooms as our stalls instead of a particular area in the Parade Square.)

Due to the fact that there wasn't much traffic at our stalls, Shermin, Jiayan, ChinKen and I went around with our food & drinks to sell them. We went all the way up to the fourth floor where the Haunted House was and sold most of the drinks! We mostly targetted those we know, especially teachers with coupons!

When we were back, the tables that were actually by classroom door was now somewhat on the corridor! Great thinking! Now even more people could even see our stalls. :D

We stopped after three rounds or so of selling the food and drinks, to take a break. This time, we went around to support other stalls. I loved the ice cream float from one class! Another class was selling 1-for-1 ice cream at the price of $1!

I've learnt that, working together as a class helps to bonds us even more closer. I'm really glad our Sec 3 camp was before Bv Bazaar, if not we would not have the support of everyone's to make it a success. Sec 3 Camp bonded us like never before, and I think it helped in making our stall such a success, in one way or another.

Around 4pm, everyone started to clean and clear up, which was not that easy because of the rain. Yet when everyone chipped in a little to help out, it makes a huge difference!

Then after we were done cleaning up, we left the school for Angeline's birthday party at her crib, which was very near school!

Had fun barbecuing after the rain stopped. There were also hot dogs! (haha) There were also nicely-marinated chicken wings by Angeline's mum, and satays! The bananas and the remaining food that was not sold during the Bazaar were all at Angeline's house too.

We played daidee by the pool side and played in the swimming pool. Angeline has a nice condominium!

I stayed till 9pm, then left with Jiayan, Amanda, Shermin and a few others.

Updated: Ms Koh said that our stall was one of the highest earners with an earning of $951!!!! GREAT JOB 3E2!!! :D

I miss Darl, and the thought of us doing same things but at different places makes me miss her more! ):

Just yesterday, we both had Gelare at half price, and coincidently its Cookies & Cream with Waffles too.

& a while ago on Msn, I wanted to ask her about her driving license and she answered me when I havent even click send!!!

Tell me, how can I not miss her?

    [edit]

On the 30th, we both drank HONEY GREEN TEA!!!!!!

This is seriously freaky, but ya know. GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE AND WE 100% HAVE TELEPATHY!! :D

Had Physics extra lesson today too. I guess I'll have to read up on my own more often to make sure I understand what Mrs Mak was teaching in class.

After that, we went to Block D1-01 to 03 to set up our stall, arranging the tables and chairs aside, decorating the classrooms to look like cinemas with black cloths to cover up the windows, painting the black cloth and so much more.

We had our breakfast cum lunch in school. Must really thank the canteen-vendors for opening their stalls even though it's the holidays!!

Really excited about BV Bazaar!! Hopefully the food and drinks we're selling are going to be a huge hit so we can earn lots of profits!!

    Headed home around 5pm.

I'm going to sleep early tonight to recharge my energy for tomorrow's Big Day!

Physics extra lesson today. It really feels weird to be paying attention to new topics when it's the holidays already.

Waited for Jiayan & Shermin and some others to discuss about Bazaar, then we headed to Tampines for lunch and to get more stuffs likes saucese i.e. mayonnaise and tomato ketchup and chilli sauces, and then rushed back in time for Choir practise.

When we were lunching at Long John Silver, this group of ITE students approached us and asked us if we mind being their models for their exams. They have to find people and give them a haircut, and it would be graded. This is the first time I've experienced such things, so we were not willing to let them cut our hair. Yet, Amanda regret not letting them cut her hair because she thinks the guy who approached us is very cute! (Hahaha.)

We were late for Choir, but were relieved when Ms Lim and Mr Seow hadn't arrived yet. When they arrived, Mr Seow showed us a powerpoint presention of the sequence of the Parade and all the other information we need to know. We'll be missing lessons for the first week of school (oh no!).

After which, each of us got a fixed position and we learnt the formation for the dance, Malay Medley, as different people have to move differently to the respective formations. I'm very anxious to see what the final result would turn out to be when we combined with other schools!

After Ms Lim and Mr Seow left, we met our new conductor, Mr Ngian Ping. Our first impression of him was that he is very tall! (haha). We sang a few of the songs we learnt from the other ex-conductors previously. Hope to shine with Mr Ngian to do well for SYF competition the next year! :)

Vivian & I headed to East Point Mall after that and bought Choc Chip Muffins from Hans at the basement.

    Then I left for home.

    Physics extra lesson tomorrow. Hmmm.

Choir practise today from 1pm to 4pm, though it actually started at 2pm.

The practises for these few days are in preparations for the visit from CCAB (Co-Curricular Activities Branch). The conductor for our SYF Opening, Ms Lim and the formation instructor, Mr Seow, are coming to Bedok View tomorrow to teach us the formations for the dance, and to make sure we know the steps well, so that when we have the combined rehearsals with other schools' choir on the 2nd & 3rd June, we wouldn't embarrass ourselves.

The last time we had the combined rehearsals on the 20th May, it was held in our school hall, and it was very very hot! I'm very glad we have the air-conditioned Music Room for our own individual practices.

We, including the other schools' choirs, will be dancing and singing along to six items, with all sorts of props. It's something like what one will see during National Day Parade - the combined schools' choir. It's such acts that requires a whole lot of manpower to 'wow' the audiences and most importantly, the VIPs.

I've learnt that, for such performances, what really makes it work, is when everyone does their part and cooperate, their passion and teamwork . The teamwork that everyone contributes adds up to a lot and by giving it their best shot, the performance would be really great! Just by having a smile to show that you're enjoying what you're doing also makes the audiences enjoy.

This is not my first time doing such performances. I remembered during Sec 1, when I first joined Choir, this was what we did too - the combined schools' choir. We had rehearsals at the Kallang Stadium, under the scorching hot sun. For some time, we were all very tan and "chao-ta". Joey, another Choir member, always brought sun block and we'll apply it on the coach on the way to the Kallang Stadium to prevent sunburnt. :)

Those were the times, now that we're performing in the Singapore Indoor Stadium, there'll be no more sunburns and more active sweat glands! (Haha)

Really looking forward to performing our items! Can't wait for the 27th June!

I feel so... restricted? I don't know what's that word. I can't put my thoughts to words, I can't explain what I'm feeling now.
I have no mood to do anything right now. I don't like all these.

To be loved is better than to love.
Choir practise today from 9am to 11am. It was supposed to end later, but there was not much we had o do, so it ended early.

Jiayan's dance practise also ended around 11am, so together with her, Diana & Vivian, we went to Tampines Mall for lunch. We had Tori Q at the basement. :)

The Great Singapore Sale had already started! There were discounts everywhere! You can see signs saying " Up to 20% discount!", "Save up to 30%!" and so on. It's time for a shopping spree!

    Head home around 3pm.

    Monday, May 26, 2008

Today Jiayan, Shermin, Amanda, WeiJie, Zhenlu, Jeremy, Daanish, Derick & I went from Bugis to Kallang to Onan Rd to do Bazaar Shopping!

McDonalds for lunch, because there was the only place that can occupy so many of us, lol.

Then we realised we couldn't find the shop that sells cheap stuffs at Bugis, then Shermin suggested that we go to Kallang, because there was a shop near her house that sells the stuffs we need. Upon reaching, we found out that the shop was closed! An aunty selling towels next to the shop tells us that we can go to Onan Road to find what we needed.

My mum has a friend who lives in that area. She used to go to have karaoke sessions while I tagged along all the time, so I'm quite familiar with the area. I proudly brought them there and we bought all the packaging needed for BV Bazaar.

After that we headed back to Kallang to Shermin's house to leave the things there. We spent quite some time chilling at her house. Then around 6pm, we left her place and headed home.

FUN FUN FUN! Work is tiring, work is also fun and enjoyable when I have classmates like them who makes me laugh till my stomach aches.

I really hope that our shop would be a success! GO 3E2!!!!

    THIS.IS.A.FOOD.POST...

Because I had soooo much great foood today, and not because I went to the Expo Food Fair. HAHA.

Cuzzins from Msia came to SG today! & I'm their guide to Expo Food Fair. HAHA.

Before meeting them, Ahting, Sean, Ahfei & Ahting's friend, Beizhen, & Yours Truly went to Parkway to have Good Food #1: Crystal Jade as brunch. There were fried rice, lovelylovelylovely dim sum, iced lemon tea, etc.

Sheryl called! MG outing on the 10th! I hope there's no choir that day!! Pfft. (Why didn't you all wait for me? ]: )

Left shortly after to meet da cuzzzies! Brought them to have Good Food #2: ChaiChee BakChorMee at East Coast. I didn't have any myself thanks to #1, though I did have Lime juice :D

Then we headed to Expo! Man it was crowded! I think this is my virgin trip to a food fair. Lol. Call myself a Singaporea eh? For there has been so many many food fairs previously? HAHA.

Cuzzies were selling pots of honey, raw honey, that's supposed to be good for health, can heal wounds etc. I tasted a few and I think it's not bad, but it's a little pricey, hmm.

Then around 5 plus we left for East Coast Park, to meet Ahting & Sean, to have dinner at Good Food #3: Zen. It's been some time since we went there, the last time was with the family too. Had their usuals - Fish&Chips, Soft Shell Crabs, Tomyam noodles, Curry/laksa noodles, Mee sua, Ice tea, etc. This new dish caught my eye - Cheese baked salom w/ mashed potatoes! HEAVENLY! Two thumbs up! :D

Then all 6 of us squeezed inside Jimmy's car (HAHA) and went to find Mama at Siglap. She's always so happy when people comes to visit her, esp since its da cuzzies. Bought Seventeen (:D) & CLEO. Went to Cold Storage, walkwalk a bit. The player got stuck and it was repeating that same part over and over again. Funny.

Then we walked over to the stretch of eateries, planning on eating Haagen Daaz, but we went to Good Food #4: Coffee Club instead. (HEHEHE!)

Super super super in love with their Iced Mocha Vanilla, Blackforest Cheesecake, & their very-very-very-superbly-famous Mudpie!!

I have no idea how I managed to feed myself all these at all!! HAHAHA.

So the moment I got home, I was feeling so bloated!!!! I was on the verge of puking, huge huge headache!! I wasn't having a fever!! I think it's because I didn't burp!! So immediately after I burp I felt soooo much better!!! HAHAHA. Serious, not kidding. Must be mind over matter. Hmmm.

Photos up when I have Ahting's cammmmmcammzzz with me! :D
